Welcome to The Darji Mitra Mandal website. We are a self run community group based in North London supporting the Darji community in the UK. The literal translation of the Gujarati word Darji is Tailor and many of our community elders are still Tailors by trade, although many are not. Founded in 1958 our aim is to keep our community connected and maintain our Hindu traditions in today's fast paced life.
