Born on Taveuni, Fiji Islands, arrived in UK in 1984. Have a wonderful son and family,
Started my own business in 2018 and qualified as a chartered tax advisor in 2002.
Joined DMMUK as a volunteer to help prepare financial accounts and claim gift aid relief on building
fund donations from HMRC. As the building project completed in 2004, joined the committee as
treasurer. Took over task of hall bookings, managed to trigger an exponential growth in hall rental
revenue, resulting in hall being financially self-funding.
In 2012, was honoured to become the first lady President of the UK Darji Mandal.
Am proud to have been part of the hard-working committee members, growth, on-going
achievements and success of our Mandal.
Hobbies include gardening, travelling and taking family and friends on holidays, especially cruises.
